INCREASE YOUR JOY
There is a time and a place for dealing with our distresses; however, we often overindulge this part of our experience. Our fears, wounds, and survival instincts trick us into believing they are our best life advisors. Although they have valuable information to share, joyful therapy is about positioning them more appropriately in their influence and returning joy to it's rightful place by your side. It is our joy that guides us to an actualized life full of purpose, fulfillment, and empowerment. It's time to allow it's wisdom to be your co-pilot again.
TUNE INTO YOUR JOY
This isn't about hedonism or denial. It's about giving your heart the mic with no interruptions. There is a true place within you where you can settle into your own warmth to learn and grow. Return home and talk, listen, and share from here.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF THERAPY
Evolution has trained us to focus on "the bad". As I walk to the watering hole on the beautiful sunny day, my survival depended on me looking out for the tigers and not deeply feeling and breathing in the sunshine. We continue today to be neurologically designed to bring our attention to what's wrong or could go wrong and move quickly through what's right. This deeply effects how we interpret and experience our worlds. It leads us to waste time and energy focused on fear-based thinking. Thankfully, this design can be altered through practice.
Traditional therapy uses the unconscious and our distresses to gather information, heal, and grow. This work is very effective and yet it is enhanced when we also include the viewpoints of joy. When we allow joy not only to have equal say in our lives as fears and pains but position it as a better advisor to present and future choices, our worlds transform. Joyful therapy combines the power of therapy with the power of joy and inner wisdom. Where do you come alive? What needs and wants need to be embraced and experienced so you can breath deeply? What answers do you already have in living a great life?
